Well, I wouldn't really know the signs of spring, as it KEEPS SNOWING!
I suppose there are a few birds out and about nowadays, and although it is snowing, there is visible grass!! That's exciting actually. Oh, also, the sky is always pretty gray, and to be honest, I feel like in the spring the sky is always gross and grey. And it's always rather muddy out until like... the end of spring. Regardless I do like Spring. I feel so relieved once the snow starts to melt.
I just noticed I spelled "grey", like "gray", but WHICH IS IT REALLY!? I don't know. WHO really knows? I bet one of them is the American way of spelling it like "colour" and "color". SO DUMB.
I like spelling it gray, so, hopefully that is the Canadian way. I wouldn't want to come off as un-patriotic.
This blog really strayed from the original topic, but you know what? I DON'T MIND! :)

ROADTRIP
Yeah, well, me and my family never really go anywhere together, so I've never really roadtripped with them. HOWEVER, last weekend, I believe... Or perhaps the week before, me and some cast members from an Easter play went on a mini roadtrip :)
It began once we had all tumbled into our director's soccer-mom van. After arguing for a few minutes that we should go to Marble Slab, regardless of the fact that we don't have enough money, we headed to Tim Horton's. That up-beat pop song with the "apple-bottom jeans" and "the fur" was playing on the iPod and we were all making fun of Dan Cave, I'm sure. I don't really need to go into detail for that part... ANYWHO, we arrived to Tim Horton's and I claimed that "I can't go in because I got someone to take the first half of my shift and if my manager sees me, she'll most likely just assume I lied about any Easter play"; so Elena, our director and I wait in the van as we stupidly entrust our orders with the Cave Brothers...
We specifically asked for Timbits, and WHAT do they come back with!? NOT TIMBITS!
I was outraged. However, we proceeded on to our actual destination of Hidden Acres. The rest doesn't really matter because I can't really remember how I was feeling at the time of the event. That's okay though, right? :)
I think it is. It IS my blog, after all. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

CHICAGO
Weeee, next week I'm going with the music department to CHICAGO!
I am FAIRLY excited! I've never been to CHICAGO before. Let's take a look at what it looks like, shall we!?
Mmm, that looks nice.
I don't even care how long the drive will be, 'cuz it'll be COACH. Ooh, baby. Also, I'll be a fifth person in a four person room. So sneaaaaky! I've originally been grouped with some grade nines, or tens, BUT I'm just going to sleep else where.. It's really quite an ingenious plan, to be honest. We're also going to see a White Sox game... I don't really know baseball, but... I get to wear giant pair of white socks. Gotta represent.
On a side note, this comic illustrates my life perfectly.
a little random, but I found these in MY DOCUMENTS, so I thought I should put them to use...

The cat did it.

Next YEAR
OMG, you can change the font! I LOVE IT!
Why is it that I only realize this when we have less than 3 months left of school? I'm not sure why either.
Anyway, since I sort of brought up the end of the school year I suppose I can just casually lean into our blog topic today...
Next year, I will be coming back to these wonderfully green and white halls for a fifth year. However, I hadn't planned on that at the beginning of the year. Oh no, not at all. Originally, I had planned to go to University in Toronto and become a badass actress. However, I came to the realization that I have no money, and I do not want to take out a loan, and there's no way I'm working full-time at Tim Horton's next year, so fifth year it is!
I'm only a little upset that I can't go to school next year... mostly because I just want to start studying strictly for acting, and I'm going to be a lot farther away from the majority of my friends.
OH WELL.
